The Protium offers three variations of overdrive, the pedal at max goes to medium gain.

(The Tone) A very even EQ from highs to lows with just a slight bump in the mids without any hint of a nasally tone. With clean, clear, almost bell-like notes – glassy, dynamic with depth and clarity. This allows you to play with complete authority at any volume level, also maintaining low noise to max levels of gain. All three positions will deliver a very expressive dynamic feel while maintaining your distinctive sound. No concern of not being heard in the mix with this one!

*What the Protium is “not” – it is not a Klon, TS or any type of circuit derivative.

The Protium is a boutique, hand built, analog circuit capable of delivering a surplus of tonal options.

(Pos-1) Boost to overdrive that goes past mild – half-way to medium gain, can also get a little compressed.
(Pos-2) Boost to overdrive that offers just a little dirtier overdrive tone as it’s turned up, max is medium OD.
(Pos-3) Boost to overdrive that goes just a “small” bit below medium gain at max, offering just a “little” more of a low mid bite.

All three positions have different dynamics & feel in the overdrive tone, positions 1 & 3 are symmetrical diodes, Pos. 1 has a slight volume drop.
